Nearest towns are Rajapalayam towards Madurai side and Sivakiri towards Tenkasi side. This village also hosts a big temple of historical importance. From this village you should travel by a small road for about 7-8 km which is mostly uphill since you are traveling towards Western Ghats.
This place is a treat for wild life enthusiasts and offers many a panoramic views. Life line to this place is the small stream which runs stSave as Drafteadily almost through out the year but overflows and dangerous during monsoons. Lookout for flash floods also since one may not realize the rain pouring down the other side of the mountains as these are located as many layers of rocks and hills.
